Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need any experience to join?
Finding the ideal class placement for your dancer is important to us. Depending on your dancers experience, we will informally assess your dancer within their first few classes. Whether it’s your dancer’s very first class or they’ve tried something similar before, they’ll be gently guided every step of the way.
What should I wear?
For your first class with us, all you need is some leggings, joggers or shorts with a tshirt. Bare feet are perfect for your first class.
After your first class your dancer will be fitted for their uniform, which will be charged to your nominated account or credit card.
Sapphire dancers will also require the appropriate dance shoes for their classes, we will provide you with information for you to purchase these for your dancer.
How big are the classes?
Classes are kept small to make sure each child gets personal attention and feels part of the group. This helps build a real sense of community and connection with their teacher and new friends.
Can I stay and watch the class?
We understand that it can take a few weeks to settle into a new environment and there may be times your dancer may need your support. Due to space and safety, parents aren’t able to stay in the room during class—but there’s a cosy waiting area just outside, and you’re always welcome to pop your head in for a peek! You’ll still feel completely connected to your child’s journey, with regular photos, videos and class updates shared directly to you through our easy-to-use parent app. It’s such a lovely way to see their confidence grow each week.
