Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need any experience to join?
Not at all. The Emerald level programme is carefully designed to build foundational dance skills over three enriching years and is a welcome entry point for children who are new to dance and those transitioning from Dance Explorers alike. Every child is met where they are and guided forward from there.
What should my child wear?
For your first class, comfortable leggings, joggers or shorts and a t-shirt are perfect. Bare feet work beautifully to begin with.
After your first class your dancer will be fitted for their Emerald uniform.
How big are the classes?
Our classes are kept intentionally small so that every child receives genuine personal attention and feels a real part of the group. This is what allows meaningful connections to form - between your child and their teacher, and between the children themselves.
Can I stay and watch?
We understand that it can take a little time to settle into something new and we fully support that. Due to space and safety, parents arenโt able to stay in the studio during classโbut thereโs a welcoming area just outside, and youโre always welcome to pop your head in. Youโll stay closely through our parent app, which delivers regular photos, videos and class updates directly to you. Itโs a lovely way to watch your child's confidence grow week by week.
Can we do a trial class?
Enrolling directly into a regular class gives your child the best possible start - allowing them to settle naturally, form friendships, and develop a genuine sense of belonging within the group.
Classes fill quickly, and enrolling secures their place without the uncertainty of a short-term trial.
